Adam and I are finally IN Cambodia and it's super cool (well, as cool as it can be for having just arrived). After 26 hours of travel and 17 hours on planes, we landed in Vietnam at 11pm last night. We stayed with a friend that is here for work (in his super-fancy-work-paid-for hotel). This morning we caught an 8am flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. The flight was really good and it was SO cool to see Cambodia from the air. It's REALLY pretty. More green than almost anywhere I've ever seen. Tons of palm trees and that sort of thing. There were crazy, huge watery areas (rice paddies??) with tiny little dirt roads through them. We're staying a bed and breakfast run by an American couple. It's been really nice so far (2 story room with a kitchen, patio overlooking the pool, A/C, bathrobes, the works...). We start tours of Angkor Wat and the other ruins in the morning with a guide. It's only noon here so we'll have to find something fun to do on our own this afternoon. Sara gave me a hard time about how people are supposed to blog when they are on trips... So, this blog and any others from our trip our dedicated to her :)
