Thought I would just share with everyone that Dad had a phone call yesterday morning from Jim Jr. who was grateful to be alive after having a chilling experience driving headlong into a flood-washed out roadway at 60 mph in the dark on his way to work. He was blessed with the presence of mind to do several things (you will have to ask him to tell you exactly what as I was listening in the background and can't remember all the details) which helped him to get out of the situation. A phone call today let us know that at least 4 others were not so blessed, but lost their lives - including one from his neighborhood. I just thought perhaps we all might want to offer a prayer of gratitude - for Jim's protection, and for the gift of the Holy Ghost which most assuredly helped him survive. Love to all - stay close to the Spirit and close to each other!
