We've landed in Utah:)!

Wow - Can't believe how long it has been since my last posting.  No way to really catch up, but I can say that the days following the reunion were filled with a LOT of work as we packed the motor home and cleaned out other areas of the house and property.  AND, we made the trip from Roseburg to Payson without any major incidents.  We drove Friday and Saturday... Long trip and we realized Sunday (after arriving Saturday evening) that we were more tired than we thought. Really enjoyed a short stop in Eugene to say goodbye to our friends in the mission office and we got to meet the new mission president and his wife - so that was good too.  Traveling with the cat, Koda, has had happy and sad moments, lots of worried moments too - but he seems to be adapting to living in the motor home and to taking walks on the leash we bought.  Not at all friends yet with the cats at Sara's so have kept him in most of yesterday and so far today.  Mary and Michael were visiting last night and Mary took him out for quite a long time...but the end result was a very unhappy cat again because of other cats around.  Michael called his mom and she suggested taking a cloth and rubbing it on the other cats, then putting it in the MH with Koda for him to get used to the smell.  Also possibly putting the litter box outside for awhile to let the other cats get used to his smell...so, we are working on the first idea (have 2 cats on the cloth right now) and when we get that accomplished will work on the second one.

I got tied up with a technical support person (by phone) last night as I had called to ask a question....feel like I got myself into a little bit of a mess...took probably 2 1/2 hours on the phone and computer; we finished about 11:30 p.m. and I was totally exhausted.  Also missed being able to talk to Jeanie as my phone was connected up to the computer being worked on and I was talking to the guy through Dad's phone.  End result of all of that is that I feel very strongly I was never really meant to function in this world.  I need something much simpler and more user friendly.

Today, Monday, began bright and early with Dad leaving to go with Patrick to do various chores, then an impromptu visit from Payton.  I have been trying to get a list made of all the things that need to be done...keep adding to it.  It is 11:40 am and I am ready for a nap:(.  Dad is back out working with Patrick again...this is his day of education in all that needs to be done around here so will probably not see him much.  Payton and Jocee are happily playing on our bed with all the little stuffed animals that usually reside there:)  Lots of imagination!

Guess that is all - just a note to kind of keep me updated for when I want to look back upon these days:).  Loved having everyone at the house for the Fourth - at least almost everyone.  Made me cry happy tears to see the house, barn, pond, fields and hills being used by so many happy kids and adults.  It is what my heart's desire has always been - to be able to share our precious little valley with others:)!  If the sale goes through, I know I will miss it greatly but the memories are precious and I hope will be with me forever.  New adventures ahead...right?

Putting a few pictures here:
Trying to get a group shot before the Jet boat trip:)

Koda found a spot next to a mirror while traveling...liked seeing the other cat?

For a little while he traveled on the couch....
Then he found a spot on Dad's leg...

And enjoyed a little sun:)
