Wow... feels like I am now 2 weeks behind my schedule...but I have hopes of getting quite a lot done today. If you would like to include us in your prayers, that would be greatly appreciated:)! Still working on the family room - still have quite a way to go, but lots has been done, so I take hope from that.
Charlotte came down Thursday afternoon and stayed through this morning; she was able to go through all of her old boxes, sort them out and left with a goodly amount of stuff. However she also left a fair amount for others of you who are coming to sort through to see if you would like any of it:).
I put my chickens for sale on Craig's List yesterday; had 2 calls on the answering machine when I got home. I called the first and got an answering machine, so left a message that we were home. Called the 2nd and the woman said she would come out in the evening (after dark) to pick them up. She did. Dad said they were the easiest chickens in the world to catch:). She paid me in $2 bills and gold dollars - that was a little different, but fun. Now I have a lot of $2 bills for upcoming grandkids turning 2. Hmmm... wonder if I will actually get to use them all... Have had 2 more calls this morning, altho we have taken the ad off Craig's list now. Dad brought up the last eggs and turned the refrigerator off:). I was sad for a little bit... then decided to call the Garvins; there is so much more that I could be sad about but instead am so blessed!
Charlotte left this morning - the sun is shining, so that is nice. We did take time off on Thursday night to see War Horse. It was very good; we came home and looked it up online and read about the making of it - very interesting. I could not believe some of the scenes in the movie. Most of all it brought home the point (to me) of how wars are created by those in power and that, for the most part, the people actually doing the fighting would actually get along quite well together.
Suzanne came this morning and cleared out the rest of her stuff at the barn; that was good - but sad to think of how that all ended.
Guess that is all to report for this week ~ Love to all!!!
