Hello from TreasureValley:) I was actually going to spend some time on this last Sunday, but life (and Dad) intervened and it didn't happen. Right now this will be very short... but at least it is an effort:) I spent yesterday in Portland with two other music teachers from Roseburg at a conference; it was very good and I have something I even want to share with all of you... only I have to e-mail the presenter to get a copy of it and I haven't done that yet. It was fun to log on tonight and find that there were actually a couple of blogs here! Maybe we will get this going yet. Actually I was hoping that Holly had put something about their Dave Ramsey experience yestserday... but not yet:)
Aunt Cathy had a birthday yesterday, and for anyone not aware, she is not going to have surgery now for breast cancer, but will be on medication(s) instead. She and Ed were extrememly happy with the decision and she is looking forward to being able to do some traveling with Melissa now over the next few months. The outlook for Melissa's sight is very poor; last visit to the doctor they were told she would be totally blind by September. Our prayers are with her; and... doctors are NOT always right!!!
Adam and Emily celebrated their 6th anniversary by going up to Monterey Bay for the weekend; sounds like they had a fun-derful time. Stephen needs to do some catch-up work on his anniversary celebration with Holly:)! Congratulations to all of you!
May is half over - which means only 2 months until our semi-planned reunion. Hope everyone is saving their money and working on schedules so that we will all get to see each other. Sounds like we need to put Jim and Jeanie in our prayers so that they will be able to make it; things are not looking good for them. In a couple of weeks we will start getting down to details... hopefully here on the blog:) (So... I hope you are checking in....)
