I should have announced that Dad caught a racoon in record time last night. Went to the barn (late afternoon) and Racoon was in the barn. Spent some time hunting up the trap and setting it up. Came up to the house. Went down to the barn - maybe an hour later, but probably less - to lock up the chickens and found the racoon in the trap. I felt sorry for him this morning and fed him some cat food - but he repaid me with barks and snarls, so I didn't feel very appreciated. He probably didn't either. About an hour later Dad took him out to Dillard - and said he left the trap quite promptly:)
We had the Garvins over for dinner tonight & played Mexican train afterwards; tomorrow we are to have a "picnic" at Stewart Park with Linda and a friend of hers (+ friend's husband and brother or brothers). Not until about 5 though; we have LOTS to do around here and are hoping to get LOTS done:) Sure would like to hear what you all are doing over this weekend....
