This is the first time I have EVER posted something on a blog! I hope it works the way it's supposed to... It's so fun to read about what everyone is up to. I figured it was time I do my part (AND I promised mom I would post something or write a letter once a week).
Adam has been out of town this weekend. He's up in Northern California (Sea Ranch?) with some of his college friends for a "fishing" trip. They've been trying to make this a yearly event. It tends to involve a lot of hanging out, eating out, movie watching, and about 2 hours of fishing (if any). He's getting back tonight around 10pm (yea!!). I've been holding down the fort while he's been gone. That means a lot of work and not that much sleep. I'll be really happy when he's back!
We've been trying to talk Jennifer into coming down to visit us for a while. I finally had her on board to visit in June but just realized last night that the only weekend she can visit, we'll be in Idaho for Adam's family reunion. How sad! She's going to check with her boss to see if she can get some time off later in the summer. If anyone else wants to visit, there's always an open room.
Adam and I are planning on trying a raw/living foods diet for this coming week. I hate salad and love bread so it could make for a rough week! When I blog next week, I'll let you all know how that went...

every time i see a commercial on tv for a vacation some place cool... especially california.. i always say "i want to go there!" your invitation for visitors will give me another reason to bug steve about it. :)

OK...How did you come to the decision to try a raw food diet? Valerie B. kind of lives by that but I never imagined my daughter doing it:)! Thanks for the blog...love you, Mom
