Hello to all. Just want you to know that the 3rd Racoon has been officially deported to Dillard. In Dad's words, "He's a mean one!" (Lots of Barking and Hissing!) I think maybe he's the Dad; maybe Young One was first, Mom was second (the really nice and mellow one), followed by the DAD. This one took quite a number of attempts, managed to eat the food and somehow leave the trap empty; I gave Dad a plastic leftover container to put some cat food in on Friday I think - to keep the food from going through the bars to the ground. Saturday morning the food dish was empty, the trap doors closed but not locked, and still no racoon. Dad was thinking it was a large rat... but I reminded him that I had seen the 'coon heading out by the hay bin a few days earlier:)! Sooo... he worked on the trap and tried again last night and this time it worked. But... the Dad ATE the food dish as well as the food! I hope he will be OK; Dad says he looked VERY Healthy:) All the other critters are doing well; we plan to take a Pen of 5 to the Lamb Show next weekend - our very first time. We are thinking of posting a notice with them that our little flock of ewes is for sale. Life without the sheep won't be as picturesque... but would be a lot easier on Dad:)! Maybe if our pen of 5 judges well someone will actually be interested... we will see. (Note: I would MUCH rather be going to the lamb show with my KIDS [the 2-legged variety] - even if I DID always look like death warmed over by the end of the day!!!) Oh how I miss you all....
Life continues to be very busy... then when I try to think of all I have been busy with, my mind goes blank. Sorry. Hope everyone is doing wonderfully well,
