I love seeing everyone's posts! Props to Holly for setting up the 'family blog'.
I missed posting something last week (things have been crazy, as usual). We were up in Lewiston, ID last Friday through Sunday. We had a family reunion for Adam's Mom's side of the family. It consisted primarily of distant relatives but it was fun to hang out with the family and cousins that we don't get to see that often! Adam and I decided to get a rental car at the last moment and had reserved an 'economy' car (imagine a Ford Focus) but when we got there they upgraded us to a brand new pimped-out Enclave. That sort of things NEVER happens to me! We had leather, sun roofs, satellite radio, a backup camera, etc. I realize this isn't a big deal to 99% of people but it DID make the trip seem more fun! It doesn't get much better than cool, free stuff.
Now that we're back from the short trip, we are busy catching up on work. We're making plans for a long bike ride and a softball game for the 4th of July. It will be nice to finally have some summer weather around here (June is always overcast in Carlsbad). Adam's basketball team is doing really well this season. We just got home from a game. His team is currently tied for first place in the rankings. I'm the ONLY one that goes to watch them... I'm always surrounded by the 15 people that came to watch the OTHER team play! I try not to let that affect my cheering.
